Huge Highstreet Makeup Haul

FullSizeRender-3

My makeup collection is growing rapidly and getting seriously out of control, so much so that I have actually had to buy alternative makeup storage. So, sadly this will have to be my last haul for a while I think.

It was recently payday for me so I decided to got shopping and I ended up doing some damage to my purse. So here is what I got..

Boots recently started putting Nyx counters in their stores and I am over the moon. Nyx has amazing products at an affordable cost. Their liquid lipsticks are some of my favourites so of course I had to pick up a few more.

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream £5.50. I picked up the shades Cairo and Dubai. The formulation of these is lovely. They are non drying on the lips and they staying power is incredible.

Nyx Liquid Suede £6.50. I picked up the shades Soft Spoken and Sandstorm. Just like the Soft Matte Lip Creams, the formula of these is amazing.

Nyx Lip Lingerie £6.50. I got the shade Corset. If I am being honest, out of the 3 liquid lipsticks that Nyx do, this is probably my least favourite. It can sometimes be slightly patchy but they are still a good affordable option.

I haven’t purchased anything from Sleek for a while now, but boots had a buy one get one half price offer on so had a look and ended up getting a couple of products.

Sleek Solstice Palette £9.99. I have had my eye on this for a while now. The packing is lovely and the highlighters look incredible. When swatched, the colours a so pigmented. I am looking forward to playing with this more.

Sleek Idivine All Night Long Palette £8.99. I used to have quite a few sleek eyeshadow palettes and they are great. If you are looking for an affordable palette, I would highly recommend checking them out. I seen there was a few new eyeshadow palettes out and had to pick one up.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder £3.99. This was a repurchase. It is one of my all time favourite powders and mine ran out recently so I had to pick another one up.

Rimmel Lasting Finish  Foundation £7.99. I picked this up on a whim as I hadn’t heard anything about it but was looking for a new full coverage foundation so decided to give this a try.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer £5.99. Boots were doing an offer that gave you this free if you spend over £9 on Rimmel products. I am looking forward to giving this a go as I have been looking for a more affordable option to my Mac bronzer.

Maybelline Color Tattoo £4.99. I picked up the shades Creamy Beige, On and On Bronze & Permanent Taupe. Maybelline had a 3 for 2 offer on so I clearly couldn’t control myself and ended up picking up 3. I had been after these for a while now as I think they would be great when I am in a rush and just want a quick sweep of colour over my eyelid.

MUA Ultimate Undressed Palette £8. The MUA eyeshadow palettes are amazing. I used to have the original undressed palette and loved it. The eyeshadows and creamy, pigmented and very bendable, they are also super affordable. I was browsing superdrug and just could not resist picking this up.

I have been on the hunt for new lip liners as the only kind I have tried is Mac, and at £12.50 a pop I can’t really afford to be buying them all the time.

Nyx Slide on Lip Pencil £5.50. I picked up the shade Disco Rage to go with a bright pink lipstick I own. I swatched this and it feels incredible creamy.

Nyx Mechanical Lip Pencil £5.50. I got the shade Natural as have an addiction to nude lipsticks so can never have enough nude lip liners to go with them.

Barry M Lip Liner £3.99. Shade 17. I grabbed this because I watched  a video where Zella wore this with the Nyx Lip Suede in Sandstorm and it look great. So, as I was buying Sandstorm I thought I might as well get this also.

L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation £14.99. Cushion foundations have been becoming quite popular recently. I have been after one since they started being released but is has mostly been high end brands releasing them and I just couldn’t justify spending that much on one as I wasn’t sure if I wouldn’t like it because I like a full coverage foundation. So, when L’Oreal released one I new I had to try it. Also, look at that packaging! It’s just adorable.

Soap & Glory Gloss Stick £3.50. I have heard great things about the gloss sticks and at £3.50, why not? I got the shade nudest and thought it would be good when I don’t want to wear a matte lipstick.

Soap & Glory Nudes Collection Lipstick £9. Soap and Glory recently re-released their lipsticks in new packaging and shades. I got the shade Matte Super Nude which is perfect for me. The packaging on these is gorgeous also.

Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte Palette £8. My makeup collection is lacking when it comes to matte shadows, and as I love the makeup revolution palettes I thought this would be perfect.

Alice in Wonderland Makeup Bag £4.Last but defiantly not least, I was strolling around Primark and spotted this makeup bag. I am a huge disney fan so this is perfect for me. Isn’t it just the cutest?
